Sr. Staff Electrical Engineer will be joining the effort of developing cutting edge eye examining medical device. This role is responsible for electrical design and review of new products and on-going electrical problem solving and solutions.
Generate design and implementation document from market design requirements and system architect specifications.
Skill of Verilog RTL programming and simulation for digital design.
Perform electronic digital and analog circuit design, schematic capture. Work closely with PC board layout vendor to ensure accurate implementation of design.
Work on board debug with oscilloscope and logic analyzer.
Support R&D scientists to build prototype systems.
Interface with mechanical and optical engineers in product development, support Production and Service department
Review and approve future electrical product design
Manage compliance testing of medical electro-mechanical products
BS/MS Degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics or equivalent experience
Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical circuit design
Experience in design, repair and analysis of electronic systems
Proficient in Electronic design, testing, and troubleshooting of electronic systems
Experience in Electronic engineering design principals and methodologies
Expertise in analog and digital circuit design.
Expertise in schematic capture, and layout tools like PADS or ORCAD.
Proven experience managing project work
Establishing processes/guidelines for electrical design
Experience in CAD Software
Design for manufacturability and design for reliability skills.
