Introducing Quantitative OCTA: A Paradigm Shift in the Management of AMD
Presented by Paul Tornambe, MD, FACS & Nikolas London, MD, FACS, Retina Consultants San Diego
Join Drs. Paul Tornambe and Nikolas London to hear how quantitative OCTA has changed their approach to AMD. By objectively measuring CNV response to anti-VEGF therapy, Drs. Tornambe and London have been able to personalize each treatment to address an individual patient with a unique retinal lesion over a specific time period.
This paradigm shift has lessened the burden of anti-VEGF therapy on both their practice and their patients. Drs. Tornambe and London will present their findings concerning earlier CNV detection, differentiating between fluid caused by CNV versus a dysfunctional RPE, and indicators that treatment may be stopped.
Plated dinner and British Columbia wine experience will be served.
