Introducing Epithelial Thickness Mapping
Optovue's exclusive epithelial thickness mapping is the first non-contact, quantitative measure of the corneal epithelia and stroma that helps you evaluate early ocular surface changes to aid in the diagnosis of corneal disease. A quick two-second scan identifies areas of thickening or thinning related to dry eye disease, keratoconus, or previous refractive surgery. Change Analysis lets you track changes in the ETM map over time so that you can assess the efficacy of cross-linking or dry eye treatments. For refractive surgery patients, ETM provides a robust risk analysis by quantifying epithelial and stromal thickness, which can alter the surgical plan or help you evaluate refractive surgery outcomes.
Start your anterior segment workup with new information on epithelial thickness distribution.
